Last One Standing

This story was a filler. I was trying to find a way to include something about the death of Rhys and Callum. My first thought was to ask other authors if they could at least mention it in their fics but that turned out to be easier said than done. So I gave up, bit the bullet and said ok, I’ll write something. I thought the two boys deserved that much. It actually started out two pages but I managed to fill it in enough that I got three out of it.
I tried to incorporate bits of other people’s stories in there so it would sound right. I had started on another story for the series centered on Rhys, that I had to throw away, but as I was writing I kept adding bits of that in as background for him. It came in real handy even if I didn’t use the actual story. In the end, I don’t know if Aeryn sitting and thinking can hold anyone’s interest, but that’s what she wanted to do, so she did it.
