Congratulations to Farscape for winning the Saturn Award for best show. Third time running isn’t it? Wonder how Sci-Fi feels now, pretty stupid at a guess, but we knew that already.

Hey guys, how are you? I’m good, really good in fact. Got an email asking if someone could publish Copy in an article she is doing about fanfic, not one of my better stories, but I’m thrilled nonetheless. That made my week. The exchange is taking shape and I’m really excited! Me in America for a whole year, don’t worry, I will alert the authorities on arrival, you know, so they can track me.

(Amendment: Now currently pissed off, did all of this to the blog only to find that on posting an error occurred, frelling errors! Then I look out of the window, and its now raining, what is it with this four seasons in one day crap? That serves me right for being organised, getting up early, hanging out the washing, not gonna do that again, the dryer will be used at all times now!)

The only thing I have any concern over is my cats. You see, the exchange student will live in my house for a year, and she is willing to take onboard my fours kids, errr cats. They are nice, they like company, but they can be demanding. Let me tell you a little about them:

Twiglet: Who isn’t thin btw, but he does have knobbly knees. He is gay, yeah, you heard right, but he is a cool cat, doesn’t like to go out much, prefers to lay on the couch and just chill. He was the first one we got, and he is special, although a tad dim-witted. When he wants something, the whole world and his cat knows about it.

Pringle: Evil. Uh yeah well, he is less evil than what he used to be. Kinda like Garfield personality wise. He pretends to be sleeping, then swipes at your leg when you walk by. He climbs up onto my lap about once a month does his duty then leaves. He has Senile Dementia. Forgets he has been fed and watered. He also is my alarm clock. Wakes me every morning at the same time, sitting on my chest and hitting my face with his paw. He doesn’t like to be ignored though, so, subtly, he extracts one claw at a time to make his point.

Watsit: Street wise ally cat who is also a slut. Stays out for days on end and comes back reeking of perfume. He has two houses, a neighbour and mine. Depending on what’s on offer, he will stick around for a day or two before heading off to his other pad. He eats with his paw at times, eats his own food and has his paw in one of the other bowls.

Disco: The baby of the family and she knows it. Loves to annoy the hell out of the other three with good results. She thinks she is a dog though, plays fetch with the ball and wags her tail. She has discovered the male of her species and has had a strong following for a while now, popular that one.

So, did you notice a fetish about crisps (chips) with their names? Yeah well it was either that or alcohol, and even I didn’t fancy shouting “Come on Vodka, I want you…” yeah well the neighbours think I’m crazy enough, don’t need to give them any more ammo now do I?

On another note, I’m booking my room for SC on Monday, tried to do it last night, but they couldn’t understand my accent much, thought I said the Farzip Convention, uh huh, yeah right… And, I have a new roomie too *waves to CK* I just hope the poor girl knows what she is letting herself in for. And Terri! OMG, you can’t go? *sob* but I forgive you, you tried to fix that Shout Out thing, I have no idea what is wrong with it, sometimes I hate being technically challenged. AND, she added some more blogs to my site, look over to the left.

Ohhhh, almost forgot, this is a recc site isn’t it? That means there should be fics. I have been over to Kansas, and Leviathan, even ventured over to the Ultimate. Sadly, not much on offer (my opinion) but I do have some little gems.

Red has another addition to her Tuseday Fic It just gets better, if that’s at all possible. This girl has such a talent for writing; I would read anything she puts out, no hesitation.

DE is still churning out the Aeryanna and Ian Adventure’s and I’m still loving them. They are funny, heart warming, and oh so like children! Check out his latest tales. Family Album and
Man to Man

Kernezelda is an awesome wirter. She always paints a perfect picture, often leaving the reader with a bitter after taste. I loved this story, kinda like what could have happened on the Command Carrier in Into the Loins Den. Its dark, rated R and left me feeling sad, and bad, and oh wanting more! Loved the play on the title (Stepford Wives) it fits perfectly. Stepford Lies

Kazbaby has a wonderful mind you know, deep and dark one minute in The End? Then humorous and delightful in Just Another Day

Atana has a new edition, she says its not like her other work, but I love it anyway. An emotional moment in time between John and Aeryn, both struggling to put their past behind them so they can build on their future. Rated mild PG, Shadow's Past is a delight to read (Set after Fetal Attraction)
