Guest Stars Reappearing:

Raelee Hill Ms. Hill returns in the recurring role of the gravity defying Sikozu Shanu, Prissy Jack of all Trades for Hire, and potential love slave to the enigmatic Scorpius. Previous appearances in Season 4's "Crichton Kicks", "What Was Lost, Part 1: Sacrifice", and "What Was Lost, Part 2: Resurrection", "Lava's A Many Splendored Thing", "Promises" and "Natural Election".

Melissa Jaffer Reappearing in the recurring S4 role of crazed seer 'Noranti'. Melissa previously appeared on Farscape in Season 2 as 'Old Nilaam' in 'Vitas Mortis', and as the voice of the female Pilot in 'The Way We Weren't'. Ms. Jaffer assumed the recurring role of Noranti, and potential love slave to John Crichton, in the S3 finale, 'Dog With Two Bones', and returned in the S4 episodes 'Crichton Kicks', 'What Was Lost, Parts 1 & 2: Sacrifice & Resurrection', 'Lava's A Many Splendored Thing', 'Promises', and 'Natural Election'.

Lani Tupu Returning in a guest role following the rumoured death of the much vilified and/or adored Peacekeeper Captain, Bialar Crais in Season 3's "Into The Lion's Den, Part 2: Wolf In Sheep's Clothing", and an extended stint as a regular cast member during Season 3. Lani previously appeared in guest roles during prior seasons as the inestimable Captain Bialar Crais in the Season 1 Episodes: "Premiere", "That Old Black Magic", "Til The Blood Runs Clear", "Nerve", "The Hidden Memory", "Bone To Be Wild", and "Family Ties"; and in the Season 2 episodes: "Mind The Baby", "The Way We Weren't", "Won't Get Fooled Again", "Liars, Guns & Money, Part 3: Plan B", and "Die Me Dichotomy". Lani Tupu joined the regular cast credits as Captain Crais with Season 3's premiere ep "Season of Death", appearing in the episodes "Season of Death", "Thanks for Sharing", "Green Eyed Monster", "Relativity", "Meltdown", "Infinite Possibilities, Parts 1 & 2: Daedalus Demands & Icarus Abides", "The Choice", "Fractures", "Into The Lion's Den, Parts 1 & 2: Lambs to the Slaughter & Wolf in Sheep's Clothing". The single character played to date: Captain Crais. Appearing in "John Quixote" as 'the Ogre'.

Tammy MacIntosh Returning in her recurring role as Jool, although as with everything else, things aren't as they seem this time around. Prior appearances, from Season Three: 'Self-Inflicted Wounds, Part 1: Could'a, Would'a, Should'a', 'Self-Inflicted Wounds: Part 2, Wait For The Wheel', '...Different Destinations', 'Eat Me', 'Thanks For Sharing', 'Losing Time', 'Incubator', 'Scratch 'N Sniff', 'Revenging Angel', 'Fractures', 'I-Yensch, You-Yensch', 'Into the Lion's Den, Parts 1 & 2: Lambs to the Slaughter and Wolf in Sheep's Clothing', and returned for Season 4 in "What Was Lost, Parts 1 & 2: Sacrifice & Resurrection".

Paul Goddard Another returning regular cast member who previously appeared as a guest star, all in the same role, the mad or just plain maddening Banik: Stark. Paul first appeared in Farscape in the Season 1 episodes "Nerve" and "Hidden Memory". Forever and always nebulous; Stark disappeared inexplicably, returning in the Season 2 episode, "The Locket", only to 'pass on' in the following ep: "The Ugly Truth". Returning once more in Season 2 as Stark, in the season final four arc, "Liars, Guns & Money, Parts 1, 2 & 3: A Not So Simple Plan, With Friends Like These, & Plan B", and the finale, "Die Me Dichotomy". Paul Goddard joined the regular cast credits for Season 3, as Stark, along with Lani Tupu as Captain Crais and Wayne Pygram as Scorpius. Mr. Goddard appeared as Stark in the Season 3 episodes "Season of Death", "Suns and Lovers", "Self-Inflicted Wounds, Parts 1 & 2: Could'a, Would'a, Should'a; and Wait For The Wheel", "...Different Destinations", "Eat Me", "Thanks For Sharing", "Green Eyed Monster", "Relativity", "Meltdown", "Infinite Possibilities, Parts 1 & 2: Daedalus Demands & Icarus Abides", and "The Choice". Stark shuffled off in search of Zhaan's spirit in "The Choice", and into the infinite beyond, appearing briefly as a projection in "Fractures". Returning in a guest role as the 'construct' of Stark in "John Quixote".

Alyssa-Jane Cook This one's just a bit easier. Alyssa-Jane returns as Gilina, the PK Tech who first encountered John in his earliest incarnation in the Season 1 episode: "PK Tech Girl". Again appearing as the ever-helpful Tech, Gilina in "Nerve" and "Hidden Memory"; terminated by Scorpius. Reappearing in "John Quixote" as the 'construct' of Gilina.

ep discussion

Where the BBQ goes, "What the...?" quite a bit, actually... and we get an excellent butt shot; orchid whines about blood, and Angel and the BBQ get that same vibe with the 'thing' stuck to Scorpy's face. *g*

John and Chiana are trapped in a virtual reality world that logic dictates must defy description, but that just doesn't stop us!

The real world and the virtual world become almost hopelessly entangled and the way out ...

Okay, pointless to discuss what this ep is 'about'. Subliminal messages abound and it is up to the individual viewer to decide what it all means. Currently we are obsessed with the color of Noranti's third eye. It fluctuates between Red and Blue, and an intermediate which we dub: Magenta. In the tag, she talks to John, earnest in expression and in 'seeing' that third eye is red. Vibrant. What does it mean when she looks at him like she feels? This is why Melissa Jaffer was cast. She has this 'thing' that resonates between them.
