New to 'scape

Aliens & Critters

  • Khurtanans. Entirely human appearing species residing on Khurtanan with a tendency to dress and behave as if appearing in a 1960's television scifi series.
  • Qatal Mollusk.

Words

Self-Referencing's a Bitch!:

  • Hoolian Trill Bats. Last and first mentioned in Revenging Angel.

Big Deals, Nicknames and Crichtonisms

  • Doctor Tumii becomes Doc Snot. John apparently ate a big bowl of Alpo at some time; Alpo being the brand name of a dog food; comes both dry and canned. Augh.
  • Another 60's reference: Day-Glo. Day-Glo is a brand (a registered tradmark of the Day-Glo Color Corp.) of fluorescent paint that was around in the 60's. Probably most popularized by the body and set paint used in the 1960's tv series, Laugh-In.
