Let's Do the Time Warp Again!
Okey dokey. I seem to be in some sort of alternate time dimension; time bubble; what have you, wherein I have no exact knowledge of the date. Someone needs to poke me with a sharp stick: "Ally! The Con's THIS Friday!" *sigh* I'm not sure what day I thought it was, but I'm pretty sure I didn't think it was coming up this soon. My head's in a strange place. Anyway.
Guess no time to make Burbark Trivia a fun thing, but PK Wars is still giving me those cheap homage thrills, so next question:
Because of that intense sense of family, or maybe just because there are only 15 or so members of the SAG (or it's equivalent) in Oz, Farscape is fond of the repeater.
Q: Name as many actors as you can who have appeared more than once. No points for character names only, but extra points if you can name the actor and the character(s).
They're never ready, they don't know the answers to the questions. Hell. Do they even watch this show? So, now it's time to play: If Ally Ran the Con! *cue kitchi music*
Here's what we'll do. Easy peasy:
Select three to four Trivia Teams of Three to Four enthusiasts each. Heh, this way more than one lucky trivia geek gets some free swag.
In homage to all the brilliant homage's 'scape gave us in PKWars, the questions will all have more than one answer.
Each team is awarded a point for each correct answer from all questions asked.
A question is asked and the clock starts
All teams have 60 seconds to write down as many answers to the question as possible.
Each team is given a point for each correct answer. So, we'll need a tote board of some kind to tic off the number of correct answers for each team. Duplicate answers are a-okay, so keep your voices down *shhh*. Any amount of giggling is permitted.
After the points for the final question are marked, the total points for all questions are tallied for each team. The team with the most points is then declared Ruler of the United States of America and the Geekiest Farscape Fans in the Galaxy!
But first, we need questions... and answers. And here's how we'll do it. Ally will provide the first question. You guys compile the correct answers in the comment boxes.
Then, ah, someone else has to think of another multiple answer question in which the question defines an recurring element of Farscape that has become something of an homage to the show (this isn't gonna be all my fault).
I'll compile the questions and answers and mail them off to Creation. They will thank us later, believe me. *bg*
Okay, first question.
Vomit, vomit everywhere, and not a drop to drink. Yep, PKWars gave us yet more vomit as homage to the recurring issue of regurgitation in Farscape. Let's face it, vomiting may have occurred in every single episode but, you gotta be a serious geek to name the ep and the vomiter in more than one or two episodes. So:
Hey all! Long time no blogging. Been a bit busy, and so have the fic fairies over at The Sparkys! They've put together an incredible list of story categories that you are sure to find SOMETHING that sparks your interest (pun intended!)
So, head on over to Kansas, check the thread there, or go to the actual Sparky's Webpage. Please be sure to read all the rules, as you can only vote once per category! Nominations begin TODAY and end December 31, 2004. First round pics will be voted on sometime in early January.
Go. Check out the site. Nominate your favorite fic. Do it now. Well, no, you don't have to do it now; you have until after the winter holidays. But still! Keep those stories in mind! Lots of new fic is coming out based on the fantabulous miniseries that aired two weeks ago (which I still have to see in its entirety! grumble mumble)
